Getting my nutrition knowledge formally recognized

I have had a passion for nutrition since I was a kid. I read my first book on nutrition (an in-depth, but kid-friendly one) when I was 8. At 12, I started reading books and magazines on sports nutrition. In high school (doing the IB-Diploma), I studied nutrition as part of my biology class. As an athlete, I have successfully improved performance, as well as lost and gained weight safely through dietary changes.

During all these years, I never had my knowledge formally recognized, but now it is time! My first step was to take the Foundation in Sports Nutrition at Shaw Academy – an engaging course with an inspirational teacher.

Special thank you to Laura Kealy MSc – my teacher at Shaw Academy.
